As our previous book club was a hit, we have chosen to put another one together! This week’s topic being the book: 97 Things Every Java Programmer Should Know.

Kevlin’s bio: Kevlin is an independent consultant, speaker, writer and trainer. He has contributed to open- and closed-source codebases, been a columnist for a number of magazines and sites and has been on far too many committees (it has been said that “a committee is a cul-de-sac down which ideas are lured and then quietly strangled”). He is co-author of A Pattern Language for Distributed Computing and On Patterns and Pattern Languages, two volumes in the Pattern-Oriented Software Architecture series.

Trisha’s bio: Trisha has developed Java applications for a range of industries, including finance, manufacturing and non-profit, for companies of all sizes. She has expertise in Java high-performance systems, is passionate about enabling developer productivity, and dabbles with Open Source development. Trisha blogs regularly on subjects that she thinks developers and other humans should care about, she’s a leader of the Sevilla Java User Group, a key member of the London Java Community and a Java Champion.

To prepare, please read the short chapter that you will receive in an e-mail approximately a week before the event will take place.

This Meet the Authors series will be held from Monday to Thursday at 12:30 pm CET for one week. Every day with new members and new chapters.
