JS Monthly #60, March Meetup

20 Mar

6:15 pm Sapient Limited, Eden House, 8 Spital Square, E1 6DU, London

This event will be kindly hosted by Publicis Sapient.

18:15 – Doors open. Pizza and drinks are served

19:00 – Programming your data \ Jacob Smith

Use the right tool for the job, from hashmaps to queues to trees. This talk focuses on hashmaps and trees at a conceptual level, with practical examples for each: make your own cypher and word-complete.

Jacob is a software engineer and recent transplant to London with 13 years of industry experience, the past 6 in front-end.

19:45 – JAMstack – the new kid on the block \ Tamas Piros

JAMstack stands for JavaScript, APIs, and Markup. But what does this really mean for a developer? We’ll take a look at JAM Stack solutions, and see how this new stack can be leveraged – including a discussion on the key pieces that make up the stack, including but not limited to Static Site Generators, Headless CMS and other services.

Tamas is a Developer Evangelist and experienced Technical Trainer. He has delivered successful training classes, workshops as well as presentations worldwide at prestigious conferences and Meetups.

Please give us enough notice if you can’t make it so that other people can take your place.

If you have a talk we’d love to hear from you.
