Learn JavaScript Testing Principles By Building Your Own Testing Library

18 Feb

6:00 pm The Valley, Isaäc Asscherpad 11, Amsterdam

Hello Amsterdam!

We’re very excited to announce ReactJS Academy (https://reactjs.academy) is coming to the Netherlands, starting with this Meetup in Amsterdam 🎉

During a 2-hour workshop one of our coaches (HEADS UP! BRING YOUR LAPTOP THIS IS A HANDS-ON MEETUP, with git and node at least v8 installed) will give you a glimpse of our curriculum by showing you how to get started with testing JavaScript applications. We’ll cover every principle from white-box testing to black-box testing, and some discussion about mocking of APIs if we are not short on time! At the end of this Meetup, you’ll definitely be able to apply the very best testing principles to your own JavaScript projects!

## Schedule

18:00 – Drinks and pizza kindly sponsored by The Valley plus networking
18:45 – “Learn JavaScript Testing Principles By Building Your Own Testing Library” by Roy Derks (https://twitter.com/gethackteam). Don’t forget to bring your laptop (with git and node at least v8 installed), since this is a workshop!
21:00 – Pub time for more beers & networking

## Venue

This meetup is kindly hosted at https://www.thevalley.nl/

## About ReactJS Academy

We’re currently running extensive React bootcamps and part-time courses in London, Barcelona and Lisbon. This spring we’ll launch our very first part-time React course in Amsterdam.
