24 Apr

6:30 pm Amazon Developer Centre ( Krausenstraße ) , Krausenstraße 38, 10117 , Berlin

We are excited to announce the topic of April’s Meetup – Amazon GameOn – a new cross-platform competitive gaming service for developers.

GameOn is a set of flexible APIs built on AWS’s cloud infrastructure, allowing you to easily integrate organised competitions natively into your games on mobile, PC, or console, so you can invest more time in what you do best – designing great games.

With GameOn, you can:
– Incorporate leaderboards, leagues, multi-round competitions, and
user-generated tournaments into your game
– Keep competitions fun and fair by specifying entry requirements, like
– Allow your players to compete for real-world prizes fulfilled by
Amazon or other in-game rewards.

Any game developer can access the Amazon GameOn APIs by visiting and until 1st May you can use GameOn APIs for free.

Come along and hear directly from Peter Heinrich, Amazon Developer Evangelist, Games about how to get involved.
